Our Bench Bands come in 5 Elasticity Grade deniers. The range starts at the most elasticated, through to the stiffest wrap. Stiffer does not necessarily mean better. It depends on the application.
Flexx: Stretchy and durable fabric. Entry level support. Suitable for pushups, warmups and light loads.
Bolster: Good all-purpose fabric providing strong support under load while remaining comfortable. Suitable for a 5-10% overload than your 1RM. It is suitable for lifters of all experience levels, and provides assistance with bodyweight movements such as pushups and dips, or assistance on the bench at lower load levels (<120kg / 264lbs).
Ironclad: Engineered for competitors. The right mixture of stiffness and flex for experienced lifters and designed for competitive powerlifters or advanced bodybuilders. Suitable for a 10-15% overload than your 1RM. Recommended for intermediate-advanced lifters using loads of (>120kg / 264lbs) and above.
Brutal: Very rigid support. Suitable for bigger frames, or those who simply prefer a stiff fabric. Suitable for a ~15-20% overload than your 1RM. Recommended only for advanced lifters using loads of (>150kg / 330lbs) and above.
Juggernaut: Very rigid maximal support. Suitable for bigger frames. Not for the faint of heart! Suitable for a ~20-25% overload than your 1RM. Recommended only for advanced lifters using loads of (>180kg / ~395lbs) and above.
